Since its establishment in 1998, MarlboroughNet has provided knowledge, skills and resources to actively support a number of community groups and business organisations in the Marlborough region.

The Marlborough Community Hospice helps people with terminal illnesses make the most of life. MarlboroughNet worked with the hospice's board of trustees and its promotions co-ordinator to develop a web site that is an information resource for the services the hospice offers and provides a vehicle to help secure funding to ensure its ongoing success.

The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce offers support and advice to businesses and organisations in the Marlborough region. As Marlborough's key business network, the Chamber promotes and encourages business trade, growth and opportunity. In partnership with the Chamber, MarlboroughNet created a web site to promote the range of services and business resources the Chamber offers.

MarlboroughNet is also a sponsor of the ASB Trans-Tasman Challenge tennis tournament, which is held at the Forrest Winery Marlborough Tennis Centre.
